An overtime loss in the first round of the NCAA Tournament concluded what was another successful season for the Louisville field hockey program.
The Cards finished the season 14-8 overall after facing one of the toughest schedules in the country. It was a rare sight for Louisville to face an opponent not ranked in the top 20. Louisville finished ranked in the top 10 after staying ranked all season.
With their four conference wins they set a school record for most ACC wins. They continued adding to the record book by winning their first two conference tournament games, advancing to the ACC Championship. UofL ultimately fell 1-0 to North Carolina.
Minout Mink led the team with 11 goals and was one of 11 players to record a goal on the year. Taylor Stone and Marigrace Ragsdale each had seven goals. Marisa Martin Pelegrina recorded 11 assists this season with Ragsdale recording eight.
