Continuing recent years' success, the Louisville field hockey team starts off the 2016 season undefeated. On the road the Cards have won at Indiana and Miami (OH) 5-1 and 2-0, respectively.

The 12th ranked Cardinals then defeated Miami in Oxford. Tied at halftime, U of L came out in the second half with goals by Mink and senior Lotta Kahlert. The shot count ended in the Cards' favor 14-4.
