The Louisville lacrosse team had plenty to celebrate following the conclusion of a midweek match-up against Cincinnati. Their 14-8 victory was the program's 100th victory, all under head coach Kellie Young. Their first ever program win was at home so it was fitting that #100 was in the same location.
The Cards held a solid 12-2 halftime lead, giving many other players a chance to see playing time in the second half.
Cincinnati went on a 3-0 run to start the second half, bring the score within five, but the Cards took control for the remainder of the game.
Megan Siverson and Hannah Koloski scored four goals apiece while teammate McKayla Conti scored three. Ashley Lynch, Heidi Smith, and Elise Koehl all scored a goal as well.
Louisville advances to 6-1 on the season. Their only loss was a triple overtime loss at Denver. They open up ACC play on Saturday at Notre Dame.
