Have you ever been to a Louisville field hockey game before? If not, then now is the time to change that.
Louisville's home season is already over with, but they have one more road match to conclude the fall.
The Cards sit at 7-0 on the year, the best start in program history. Their 5-0 record in the ACC is also their highest win total since joining the prestigious conference.
Their season started with a two-match sweep over field hockey powerhouse Duke. They followed that app but upsetting reigning NCAA Champion North Carolina, breaking their 47-game win streak dating back to 2017.
Louisville wrapped up their home season by taking down 2019 Final Four contender Boston College.
The road trip began with a win at Wake Forest, who concluded last season ranked 21st. They then traveled to Virginia to claim a two-game series sweep. Virginia finished last year ranked 4th in the Coaches Poll and 2nd in the RPI.
The Cards will finish the season at Syracuse, who appeared in the 18-team NCAA Tournament last year.
Louisville has scored 20 goals this season, averaging nearly three goals per match. They have allowed seven goals on the year for a 1.0 goal per match average.
Louisville has secured at least a share of the ACC regular season title, although is guaranteed the 1-seed in the ACC Tournament. The ACC Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 5-8 in Durham, N.C.
