![]() --By Jared Anderson --Photo by Jared Anderson Louisville volleyball continued their four-game road trip with a victory at Georgia Tech 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-17). The victory is the third straight conference win for the Cards. Megan Sloan posted 12 kills and Emily Scott has a career high 11 kills as the Cards easily handled Georgia Tech. Sloan also added three blocks and Scott posted a team-best six blocks. Amanda Green finished with five blocks and Piper Roe added three. Louisville tallied seven aces on the night, led by three by Melanie McHenry. Also, on the offensive side Wilma Rivera contributed 34 assists to help with the .356 kill percentage. The back row still is finding its rhythm after the loss of Alexis Hamilton. Molly Sauer powered the defense with 15 digs and had helped from Rivera's nine and McHenry's six. Louisville improves to 10-4 on the year with a 3-0 conference mark. They wrap up their road trip on Sunday, Sept. 30, at Clemson. The Cards then return home for their first ACC home match of the year against Duke on Friday, Oct. 5. The match is the same night as Louisville football vs Georgia Tech.
