After a couple more rounds of the MLS SuperDraft two more former Louisville men's soccer players were drafted. I mentioned about a couple that alreadyw ere drafted in the first and second rounds here, but the numbers doubled after the third and fourth rounds.
Here's the results: Round 1, 11th overall- Daniel Johnson, Chicago Fire Round 2, 26th overall- Stefan Cleveland, Chicago Fire Round 3, 60th overall- Michael DeGraffenreidt, New York City FC Round 4, 80th overall- Romilio Hernandez, Portland Timbers
This marks the first season a player from U of L was taken in the SuperDraft since Daniel Keller in 2015. Johnson is the highest player to go in the draft since Andrew Farrell was the overall first pick in 2013. With four players taken it is the most by U of L since 2013 when four players were drafted.
