Amanda Green and Tess Clark each recorded double-digit kills in both matches as Louisville (18-6, 12-2 ACC) downed Wake Forest and Duke on the road.  The Cards swept the Demon Deacons before having to come back from two down to defeat the Blue Devils in five sets.

Louisville made quick work of Wake Forest Friday night winning all three sets fairly easily.  They hit .567 in the first set but it lessened with each set.  Louisville comitted only 14 errors on the match.

Green recorded 12 kills and Clark recorded 11.  Molly Sauer and Wilma Rivera had 13 digs each as freshman Alexis Hamilton went out in the first set with a wrist injury and did not return.

Against Duke both sets in the first half were close but the Cards couldn't pull through.  They came out of halftime to win the third set barely, but pulled away in the fourth and fifth sets.  They hit above .300 in the final two sets after hitting between ,200 and .240 for the first three.

Melanie McHeny led the way with 16 kills, but Green, Clark, and Jasmine Bennett each had 12 kills.  Louisville was without Hamilton for the match, but she should be back next week.

Louisville's 12-2 conference record keeps them in a three-way tie with NC State and Pittsburgh for first place.  They return home for a Friday evening and Sunday afternoon game this weekend.
