Google's Made by Google Launch Event, Everything you need to know

Google held its Made by Google event on Oct 6, 2022, at 10 am ET, where it announced the launch of the much-awaited Google Pixel lineup. As part of this event, Google launched Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and the newest Google Pixel Watch. The event took place in Williamsburg, New York. Along with the launch of new Google Pixel devices, Google also announced several smart home devices as a part of a new product lineup under Google Nest. All the announced devices are available for purchase on Google’s official Google Store website. Google Pixel smartphones are seen as the trendsetters for Android smartphones in the market. Because of this, over 150,000 Android fans and Google fans joined this lunch event which was live on YouTube. But this time, Android and Google fans were also excited about another product by Google, the Google Pixel Watch, Google’s first smartwatch. The new range of the Pixel phones, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are the first phones to offer Android 13 out of the box. Also, both phones will be carrying the second-generation tensor chip, which Google has developed while collaborating with Samsung. Google has stated that newer and more developed Tensor chips are created with keeping photos, videos, speech recognition, and security.   The Google Pixel 7 will be dawning the 6.3” FHD+ 90Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. The display has been protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone will be carrying the new and updated Tensor G2 processor along with a special chip solely dedicated to security, the Titan M2 security chip. In terms of camera, Google Pixel 7 will have a dual camera setup including a 50MP main sensor with OIS and 12MP 114° ultra-wide sensor. The front camera will be 10.8MP. The Google Pixel 7 Pro will be dawning a 6.7 QHD+ LTPO 120Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. The screen of Google Pixel 7 Pro is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone has a triple camera setup with a 50MP main sensor with OIS along with a 12MP 125.8° ultra-wide sensor and a 48MP telephoto sensor with 5X zoom. Google Pixel 7 will be the basic variant and the Google Pixel 7 Pro will be the advanced version in the new Pixel lineup. Pixel 7 is available for purchase with a price tag of $599 and the Pixel 7 Pro is available for $899. Google has promised a software update for 5 years.  The Google Pixel Watch will be carrying a 1.2” AMOLED display with a pixel density of 320ppi and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The watch has been equipped with screen protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 3D. The launch will be having two variants based on the connectivity features as LTE and WiFi variants. The LTE variant is priced at $399 and the WiFi variant is priced at $349. Google has announced that it has integrated the fitness and healthcare expertise of Fitbit, which will allow the users to share their data with the researchers, for contributing to healthcare research.
